Court Partially Revives Worker's Labor Law Claim for Unexplained Fall From Ladder

A New York appellate court partially revived a worker’s Labor Law claim for his fall from a ladder, finding a triable issue existed as to the cause. Case: Wu v. Yang, Nos. 2016-00138 and 2016-04156, 05/02/2018, published. Facts: Yao Zong Wu allegedly suffered injuries in a fall from a ladder while performing construction work at a rental property owned by Zhen Jia Yang.
