The National Council on Compensation Insurance has proposed changes to its Basic Manual for Workers’ Compensation and Employers Liability Insurance, the Texas Department of Insurance said Friday.
The changes would clarify and enhance Rule 1, Classification Assignment, and Rule 2, Premium Basis and Payroll Allocation of the NCCI Basic Manual.
The filing in Item B-1433 would apply to new and renewal policies on and after Oct. 1.
