The Colorado Division of Workers’ Compensation will hold a hearing in September to discuss proposed changes to the Medical Fee Schedule.
Proposed changes would reduce the conversion factor for all services except physical medicine and rehabilitation.
Colorado’s fee schedule is modeled after Medicare’s Resource-Based Relative Value Scale, in which procedures are assigned relative value units that are multiplied by a conversion factor to determine reimbursement.
