The California Senate last week passed a bill that would request a study on the viability of linking workers’ compensation reimbursement for medical services to the value of care provided to injured workers.
The Senate voted 32-2 on Friday to pass SB 697, by Sen. Melissa Hurtado, D-Bakersfield.
