Jo Copeland Named VP of Managed Care at PMA

PMA Cos. has named Josephine “Jo” Copeland as vice president of managed care.

Copeland will be responsible for leading PMA’s corporate and field managed care operations. She will be based in PMA’s office in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania, and report to Derek Hopper, senior vice president of shared services.

Copeland has worked in the workers’ compensation, commercial auto and group health industries. Her experience includes developing managed care initiatives for insurers and third-party administrators.

Most recently, Copeland was vice president of cost containment at Broadspire, Crawford & Co.'s TPA and managed care services provider.

She has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Wesley College.
