Uninsured Garbage Company Fined $76,164

A small garbage collection company was ordered to pay $76,164 plus interest, costs and fees for not carrying workers' compensation insurance, according to a report by the East Oregonian. Pilot Rock Sanitation operated without work comp coverage from July 1, 2011, to June 26, 2012, and again from Dec. 9, 2012, through Feb. 4, 2013.
