Reimbursement for meal and lodging expenses incurred by injured workers for traveling to independent medical appointments will increase Oct. 1, Oregon's Workers' Compensation Division announced.
The standard nightly lodging rate will increase to $89 from $83. The maximum daily meal expense reimbursement will increase to $51 from $46, the WCD said.
At the same time, the WCD announced lodging rates for seven outlier counties will increase an average of 2.7%, while meal rates for travel to these jurisdictions will increase an average of 9.4%.
