NLRB Declares Dartmouth Basketball Players Employees of School

A director for the National Labor Relations Board concluded that members of the Dartmouth College men’s basketball team are employees in a decision allowing the players to hold a union election. Laura A. Sacks, an NLRB regional director, said in a decision published Monday that the basketball players perform work that benefits the university.
