OSHA Maritime Committee to Meet

The U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) has scheduled a meeting of its Maritime Advisory Committee for Occupational Safety and Health for July 24-25 in Seattle.The committee's work groups will meet on July 24 and the full committee will meet on July 25.Sessions will cover safe entry and the cleaning of vessel sewage tanks, illness and injury prevention, hazards in confined spaces, work on hollow structures and log-handling operations.The meeting will be held at the OSHA Seattle Regional Office at 300 Fifth Ave., Suite 1280, in Seattle.
