Like their counterparts in New York, Florida comp attorneys said this week that workers' compensation law practice has become “hypertechnical,” requiring extra vigilance on forms, deadlines and what once were considered minor details in claims.
Florida practitioners are seeing “an evolution into a more technical practice, whether you're on the claimants' side or representing the defense,” said Louis Stern, an insurance defense lawyer based in Sarasota.
