Insurance Commissioner Approves new Carrier

Western National Mutual Insurance Co. has received permission from the state to write surety and fidelity lines in Arkansas.

Arkansas Insurance Commissioner Allen Kerr announced the approval Tuesday of Western National's certificate of authority to write coverage in the state. The company, domiciled in Minnesota, writes surety products in 25 states.

Western National also writes workers' compensation insurance policies, according to its website.
