Ventura County District Attorney Greg Totten will join representatives from Zenith Insurance Co. for a Barkley Academy of Risk Management seminar exploring the difference between workers’ compensation fraud and workers’ compensation abuse.
The presentation will focus on the legal definition of workers’ compensation fraud and the elements necessary for successful prosecuting a fraudulent claim. It will also contrast fraud against abuse and malingering.
