WCD Seeks Penalty Hike to Improve Regulatory Compliance

Oregon regulators are asking the Legislature for a bigger stick to help prod recalcitrant carriers and self-insured employers to pay assessments, and comply with rules and orders of the director of the Workers’ Compensation Division.
