A Cuyahoga County man who had forged checks in order to maintain workers’ compensation benefits was ordered to repay over $28,000 in restitution to the state’s Bureau of Workers’ Compensation, according to the BWC’s Special Investigations Department.
Kenneth Allen pleaded guilty in March to workers’ compensation fraud after he was caught submitting unsigned personal checks from an employer in order to increase his workers’ compensation benefits after he returned to work, according to the department.
