Services for former Illinois Industrial Commission Chairman Ray Rybacki will be held today in Orland Park and Alsip, the Workers' Compensation Commission announced. He was 83.
Rybacki served for 38 years on the Industrial Commission – 35 years as an arbitrator and three years as chairman.
Rybacki was also a former Democratic Committeeman for Palos Township and founder of young Democrats of Palos Township. He is survived by daughters Charlotte, Pamela and Jacqueline William and Patricia Rybacki. His wife, Jacqueline, preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be held at 9:15 a.m....
