House Passes Bill to Delay RBRVS Fee Schedule by 5 Months

The deadline for the Alaska Division of Workers’ Compensation to adopt Medicare’s Resource-Based Relative Value Scale fee schedule would be pushed back to December under a bill the state House of Representatives passed Friday. House Bill 178, by Rep. Kurt Olson, R-Kenai, would give the division’s Medical Services Review Committee until Dec. 1, 2015, to establish conversion factors for the new fee schedule. Last year, Gov.
