Telemedicine remains in its infancy when it comes to treating injured workers, but change is coming, according to panelists speaking at the Workers' Compensation Institute’s 74th annual conference in Orlando.
“People are very confused. You can go on the Internet and pull up a whole bunch of regulations and interesting reads on telemedicine, but 90% to 95% of them have nothing to do with workers’ compensation,” said Ann Schnure, vice president of telemedicine operations for Texas-based Concentra.
