The Pennsylvania Supreme Court has accepted review of a case that could cost employers their ability to divert the money injured workers win in third-party negligence suits to pay for future medical care.
Employers who pay workers' compensation benefits have long enjoyed the right to recover the funds if a third party is found to have contributed to the injury.
