McAuliffe Signs Trucking Independent Contractor Measure

Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe has signed into a law a measure that makes certain trucking industry vehicle owner-operators independent contractors, rather than employees, and another bill codifying that noncompensated employees and directors of property owners’ associations also don’t count as employees.
