The president and vice president of a Palm Coast, Florida roofing and construction company were arrested after trying to dodge $195,000 in penalties and failing to comply with safety orders issued to their company by the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration.
Guillermo Perez and Elma Maldonado, president and vice president of GP Roofing & Construction, were arrested on June 16 and appeared before magistrate judge James Klindt, where they heard charges of not complying with a civil contempt order that was issued on March 30.
