The owner of a hotel management company was sentenced to six months in jail for stealing workers’ compensation premium refunds from more than 12 small and medium-sized hotels, the Santa Clara District Attorney’s Office announced.
As part of managing hotels throughout California, Henry Flynn, 57, owner and CEO of Kubo, obtained workers’ compensation coverage for hotel staff.
