Race Track Owner Charged with Comp Fraud

The owner of an Owega, N.Y., motorcycle race track was charged last week with workers' compensation fraud, failing to carry coverage and 26 felony counts of offering a false instrument for filing, the Elmira Star-Gazette reported.The Tioga County, N.Y., Sheriff's Office, in cooperation with the New York Workers' Compensation Board, charged Jason M. Bonsignore, 37, with failing to provide coverage for workers at Champion Speedway in Owego.Bonsignore was arraigned in the Town of Owego Court and released on his own recognizance, the news service reported.The story is here.Source: Star...
