New Rules Adopted for Citations and Penalties, Stop Work Orders and Debarment

The Vermont Department of Labor’s Workers’ Compensation and Safety Division has adopted new provisions under Rule 45, Rules for Administrative Citations and Penalties, Stop Work Orders and Debarment. The rules require the department to keep the names of complaining parties confidential in accordance with the legislature providing confidentiality protection to encourage people to report false statements, misclassification and failure to carry insurance.
