DWC Updates DMEPOS Section of Fee Schedule

The California Division of Workers’ Compensation revised the durable medical equipment, prosthetics, orthotics and supplies section of the Official Medical Fee Schedule to incorporate the latest changes made by Medicare. The division said it adopted the Medicare DMEPOS 2nd quarter “DME 17-B ZIP file” for services provided on or after April 1. The 2017 Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition Fee Schedule File from “DME 17-A” was not updated for the second quarter and was not changed, the DWC said.
