Emery Deabay, a six-year veteran of Maine's Workers' Compensation Board, will keep his post pending legislative approval after Gov. Paul LePage nominated him for reappointment.
Deabay, of Bucksport, also serves on the executive boards of the labor groups USW Local 1188, the Eastern Maine Labor Council, the USW Maine Labor Council and the Maine AFL-CIO.
Deabay is the chairman of Bucksport's Board of Appeals. He attended St. Joseph Seminary and Bucksport High School, both in the city.
