The Texas Division of Workers' Compensation announced a comment period for an informal working draft of rules governing the calculation of average weekly wages.
The agency said the draft amendments to 28 Texas Administrative Code Sections 128.3, 128.6 and 128.7 are to correct obsolete references and update the regulatory text for plain language. Draft amendments to Section 128.5 clarify the process for carriers to request adjustments to a seasonal employees' average weekly wage and to get wage information from seasonal workers.
