Sedgwick County, Kansas, has awarded the Fleeson, Gooing, Coulson & Kitch law firm with a contract to provide legal services for workers' compensation litigation, according to a report by the Wichita Business Journal.
Attorneys Bill Townsley and Sylvia Penner developed a response to the county's requests for proposals, the newspaper said. The firm will handle litigation, appellate work and "Medicare claims related to workers' compensation," according to a press release on the firm's website. The contract may be extended for up to six years, the firm said.
