New workers' compensation medical fee guidelines published by the Texas Department of Insurance will increase prices by 1.1%. The guidelines, based on the Medicare Economic Index, are for non-network and approved out-of-network services. The MEI is a weighted average of price changes for goods and services used to deliver physician services.
