Insys Therapeutics Founder Arrested on RICO Conspiracy Allegations

Insys Therapeutics founder John Kapoor has been arrested and charged in federal court with leading a nationwide conspiracy to promote the illegal distribution of Subsys, a potent fentanyl spray intended for cancer patients. At the same time, the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Massachusetts has added onto allegations against other former Insys executives who were first charged in December.
