Work Injuries, Deaths Vastly Underreported, Labor Report Says

Workplace fatalities nationwide have not improved, violence has increased, safety enforcement has plummeted and the coronavirus response has been lacking, says a new report from the AFL-CIO. “The federal pandemic response from the agency in charge of protecting America’s workers has been wholly inadequate and has placed working people in grave danger,” reads the report that was released last week.
