Fall Hazards Bring $64,400 in Fines Against Builder

A construction company accused of exposing workers to 18-foot falls faces $64,400 in fines by the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Admininistration. OSHA issued citations for two willful, four serious and one other-than-serious safety violations to Burkholder Builders on Feb. 18, after inspecting a multi-family residential construction project in Leola, Pennsylvania.
