OSHA Proposes $106K in Penalties against Sawmill for Hazards

The U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration is proposing $106,650 in penalties against a Salem, Ala., sawmill after finding 26 safety and health violations during an August 2013 inspection.OSHA said it conducted an inspection of Dudley Lumber Co. under its national emphasis program on amputations and noise.
