Truck Driver Gets 8 Years for Fraud Conviction

A man convicted of workers’ compensation fraud, welfare fraud and grand theft was sentenced to serve eight years in a Monterey County jail and pay restitution of more than $84,000, according to a report by the Salinas Californian.Chip Kyle Bolton, 33, received temporary total disability benefits for a back injury he said he sustained Feb. 28, 2011, while working as a truck driver.
