A logging company owner was indicted on charges he stole more than $75,000 in workers’ compensation benefits while failing to cover his own employees.
David C. Sigl, 55, of Auburn, is charged with grand larceny in the second degree, insurance fraud in the second degree and offering a false instrument for filing in the first degree, all felonies; and a misdemeanor count of failure to secure workers’ compensation, a press release states.
