DOL Complaint Accuses Company of Retaliating Against Safety Whistleblower

The U.S. Department of Labor filed a complaint accusing a Missouri company of illegally retaliating against a whistleblower who raised concerns about safety issues at a manufacturing facility in St. Peters. The department said the worker, whose name was not disclosed as part of a policy of not identifying whistleblowers, reportedly shared his safety concerns with a third-party auditor one day after reporting them to management at Zoltek Corp.
