Governor Signs Comp Bill into Law Despite Media Objections

Despite numerous calls for a veto from media outlets around the state, North Carolina Gov. Bev Purdue has signed into law a bill designed to help officials crack down on the some 30,000 employers in the state said to be operating without workers' compensation insurance.
