A mechanic for the New York Thruway Authority has repaid more than $33,000 in benefits after he pleaded guilty to working while collecting workers' compensation payments.
Daniel Dattilo, 47, of Highland Mills, was sentenced last month to one year of probation, and restitution. He also relinquished any right to future workers' comp indemnity claims, the New York State Inspector General's office said.
