L.A. Times Says '09 Reform Proposal Back in Play

Reform proposals fleshed out by members of California’s labor-employer workers’ compensation advisory panel in 2009 are being used to guide current reform discussions, according to a report by the Los Angeles Times.The article published on Thursday said an “updated version of the confidential analysis is being used as a template” as stakeholders and regulators pursue reform that would eliminate waste and reduce costs to pay for an increase in permanent disability benefits.
