Sunz Announces PEO Arrangement With Cimarron

Sunz Insurance Solutions announced plans to use two products from Cimarron Insurance Co. to provide workers’ compensation insurance for policyholders who have professional employer organization clients that don’t qualify for coverage under the master policy.

Cimarron’s Cover One product is a single employee-owner workers’ compensation program, while the company’s Cover Two is designed for use with single owner-operator trucking firms.

Blake Souers, chief underwriting officer for Sunz, said in a statement the new products will give policyholders a solution for small businesses and bring more value to their client companies.

Paul Halter, president of Cimarron Insurance Co., said the programs are specifically designed to address sole proprietor businesses needing to provide a workers’ compensation insurance certificate to win contracts and comply with insurance requirements while reducing audit issues.

Cimarron Insurance Co. is an admitted property and casualty insurance company in 31 states.
