The Iowa Division of Workers’ Compensation is suspending in-person hearings in regular procedure contested cases through Oct. 28.
Workers’ Compensation Commissioner Joseph Cortese II issued the state’s first order suspending in-person hearings as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic in March 2020. The commissioner has subsequently issued orders extending suspension of in-person proceedings through April 29.
