The Florida House Insurance and Banking Subcommittee will consider legislation Jan. 8 that would give employers that are issued stop-work orders for failing to provide workers' compensation coverage extra time to pay penalties and would allow them to make a $1,000 down payment and negotiate payment plans in order to lift the orders.The subcommittee will review House Bill 271, filed by Rep. W.
