The Hartford, the No. 2 workers’ compensation insurer by market share, has hired Dr. Adam Seidner as its chief medical officer. Seidner will lead The Hartford’s medical strategy and policy across all lines of business, with a particular focus on workers’ compensation and disability management. He will report to Chief Claims Officer John Kinney. Seidner will oversee the company’s opioid management efforts.
