A Los Angeles police officer has pleaded no contest to one misdemeanor count of workers’ compensation insurance fraud, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office announced.
Jason Gordon, 48, entered the plea on Tuesday and was placed on three years of summary probation by Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge William Sterling. Gordon is also required to complete 300 hours of community service and pay more than $12,000 in restitution, under the terms of a negotiated plea agreement.
