Utah lawmakers passed a bill that would create a working group to recommend ways to improve the state’s workers’ compensation system.
Senate Bill 170, by Sen. Karen Mayne, D-Salt Lake, would create a group comprising labor and management representatives, as well as elected officials, that would be required to deliver to the Legislature a final report of recommendations on a variety of topics by Nov. 30.
