The Hartford Launches Online Addiction Education

The Hartford has partnered with the nonprofit Shatterproof on an online educational program that provides information on drug addiction. The online education is being introduced after a survey by The Hartford found that 76% of employees and 64% of human-resource managers do not feel they are well-trained to help colleagues who are addicted to opioids. Only 24% of HR professionals and 18% of employees said they felt very or extremely confident that they could spot the signs of opioid addiction.
