Grocery Worker, Aesthetician Sentenced in Separate Fraud Cases

A grocery store worker who filed a claim for a pre-existing condition, and an aesthetician who failed to report she was working while collecting indemnity benefits, were sentenced this week after pleading guilty to felony theft in separate cases, the Washington state Department of Labor & Industries Announced. Marlo D. Johnston, 29, a loss prevention specialist at a Pasco grocery store, said she injured her knee chasing a shoplifter in May 2014.
