Alliant Launches Specialty Subsidiary for Complex Risks

Alliant Insurance Services announced the launch of subsidiary, called Imperium Consulting Group, that will work with clients to better manage commercial risks, and resolve complex claims and disputes.
Imperium, located in Columbia, Maryland, will employ engineers, forensic schedulers and accountants with experience in construction, government contracts and commercial contractual disputes. Alliant said. The subsidiary will also provide insurance claims preparation services and recovery strategies related to property damage, business interruption, surety, subcontractor default, builders' risk and startup delays.
Colin A. Daigle has joined Alliant to lead the new venture as managing director. Daigle previously was a managing director for Marsh, where he worked 17 years. Before then he was a senior associate at KPMB and a consultant for PricewaterhouseCoopers, according to his LinkedIn page.
Daigle holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing from La Salle University and an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business. In addition to certifications in construction auditing, financial forensics and information technology, he is a certified public accountant, Alliant said.
