The Wisconsin Division of Worker's Compensation has rolled out a new electronic warrant filing system that it says will streamline the filing of workers’ comp warrants and save an estimated $55,000 a year.
The new e-warrant filing system, developed in cooperation with the Wisconsin Court System, allows workers’ comp staff to file warrants with Wisconsin circuit courts when they’re trying to recover benefit costs paid out of the state's Uninsured Employers Fund.
