Luba Workers' Comp, a regional insurance carrier, has begun writing policies in Texas.
The expansion makes Texas the fourth state Luba writes workers' compensation insurance in after Mississippi, Arkansas and its home state of Louisiana, according to a Thursday press release. Trent Bondy, vice president and sales manager for the company, said in the statement that Luba's strategy will remain the same in Texas: "Steady, measured growth."
