Facts: Guadalupe Guerra Jr. suffered injuries in 1990 while working for the Reynolds Metals Co. Reynolds had workers’ compensation insurance coverage with INA of Texas.
In 1996, INA entered into a settlement with Guerra, agreeing to pay a lump sum of $50,000 in exchange for a release of any claims regarding past medical expenses.
